In the seminar, it will be discussed how agroecological farming provides an effective solution in the fight against global hunger and inequality, supported by concrete examples and policy implications. The discussion will focus on how agroecological approaches offer fair and sustainable solutions at both the producer and consumer levels, addressing the environmental and social problems caused by traditional agricultural systems. It will be emphasized that universities should play an active role in this transformation process, not only as knowledge producers but also as practitioners and guiding actors. In this context, the strategic importance of collaborations between academia and the field for food sovereignty and climate resilience will be highlighted.
