To support local producers and traditional products in the region, preserve biodiversity, and promote access to good, clean, and fair food, the market, opening on May 24, will join the international Slow Food Earth Markets network. By directly connecting producers and consumers, the market aims to contribute to the local economy and support sustainable rural development. In the seminar following the market opening, the importance of farmers’ markets in this process will be discussed with international examples. The opening will be open to the public and will be streamed live on the Cappadocia University YouTube Channel.
The “Project Preparation Training for TÜBİTAK and EU Funds for Early-Career Academics” aims to equip PhD candidates and graduates with the knowledge and skills to develop successful projects supported by national and international funding sources.
